香港在住CA時代：
大学卒業後、香港にて外資系航空会社の国際線客室乗務員として勤務。ビジネスクラスで仕事をするビジネスマンたちを見て、「自分もそのようになりたいと」アメリカ大学院留学を目指す。
After graduating from university, she worked as an international flight attendant for a foreign airline based in Hong Kong. During her tenure, she had the opportunity to serve passengers from all over the world and explore different countries.
サンディエゴ州立大学大学院会計学科卒 | Master of Science in Accountancy, San Diego State University, CA, USA
アメリカ留学・勤務時代：
航空会社退職後、大学で会計専攻でなかったにもかかわらず、会計の専門家を目指し米国カリフォルニア州立のサンディエゴ州立大学大学院にて会計学を専攻。入学直後知らずに履修した最難関の財務会計のクラスの最初の課題提出で、ほぼクラス最下位となる。さらに、エクセルでの課題提出が必要で、客室乗務員時代には全く触れる機会がなかったため、会計知識だけではなくオフィススキルでも最初の大きな壁にぶつかる。大学で会計学科専攻の台湾人に会計知識を、オフィス勤務経験ありの語学留学生にエクセルを、同居のアメリカ人にアカデミックな英語をサポートしてもらい、中間テストではクラス3位に、期末テストではクラス1位にまで成長。在学中に米国公認会計士試験全科目合格。
After resigning from the airline, she pursued a major in accounting at the business school of San Diego State University in California, USA. During her time in school, she successfully passed all of the U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examinations.
アメリカから日本へ―金融業界の「門前の小僧」時代：
卒業後は、NYの日系会計事務所で税務を経験後、Big4会計事務所のDeloitte and Touch LLPのデトロイト事務所にて主に製造業の米国基準の会計監査に従事。在職中に、「金融機関以外の監査を担当」ということで現・有限責任監査法人トーマツに派遣される。トーマツ初日に「金融機関以外をご希望とのことなので“しんたく”担当で」といわれ、「シンタク」という製造業かと思うもすぐに「信託銀行」ということに気づき、それまで全く興味も縁もなかった金融部門に所属することになる。そこで、日系信託銀行、米系証券会社、米系資産運用会社の米国基準の会計監査を担当し「門前の小僧」的に金融業界に触れる。
After graduation, she gained experience in taxation at a Japanese accounting firm in NY, and later, she worked on U.S. GAAP audits at Deloitte and Touch LLP, one of the Big 4 accounting firms, in Detroit, MI. During her tenure at Deloitte, she was assigned to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, where she was engaged in U.S. GAAP audits of financial institutions.
英文財務諸表作成＆「影の英文監査人」時代：
その後トーマツに転籍し、国際財務報告基準のアドバイザリー部門にて、主に英文財務諸表や会計資料の作成（翻訳）に従事。大学院時代に英文の表記ルールの知識がなかったために唯一Aが取れなかったクラスの苦い経験を活かし、細かい表記ルールまでこだわった英文財務諸表&資料を作成する。また、英語人材がいないのに英文監査をすることになってしまった全国の監査チームから依頼を受け「影の監査人」として英文監査にも関与する。
Subsequently, she transferred to Tohmatsu, where she primarily focused on preparing financial statements in English in the International Financial Reporting Standards Advisory Division. She was also involved in various audit engagements for financial statements of global corporate clients presented in English.
不動産投資家の仲間入り：
監査法人在職中から、不動産投資を始め、首都圏にいくつか物件を購入し現在も運用中。
某日系米国不動産会社のセミナーに参加して物件購入を検討していたが、自身で現地の情報を調査したところ、非常にリスクの高いことが判明し、すんでのところで購入を踏みとどまる。
She began investing in real estate while working at Tohmatsu and has since purchased several properties in the Tokyo metropolitan area, which she actively manages.
現在：
監査法人退職後、米国公認会計士として国内在住の個人＆法人の米国不動産投資家向けの米国会計・税務を行うかたわら、ファイナンシャルプランナーとして主に富裕層の資産運用相談を行う。高リスクな米国不動産を知らずに購入してしまう方が減るよう、米国不動産を中心とした資産運用を投資家＆会計士目線で相談できるサービスを開始、現在に至る。
Currently, as a Certified Public Accountant, she offers accounting and tax services to U.S. real estate investors, including both individuals and corporations residing in Japan. Additionally, she provides asset management advice primarily to high net worth individuals as a financial planner.
